Many people these days are looking to cheat their way into the aviation industry by doing the bare minimum. Rob was able to become a pilot the first time round by working hard and applying himself, and is now a highly respected pilot. To train to be a pilot, you'll need to do a fair amount of theoretical study, and then do a lot of flying hours before the US military or a large commercial airline company will take you on. The more practical experience you have flying planes, the better.
